Benefit of Choosing Chimchar

 i'm a fucking nerd and love pokemon and my favorite starters have been fire types (other than pokemon x where i chose froakie). i absolutely love chimchar. let me tell you why.

chimchar is a fire type pokemon, but when he levels up and evolves, he is also a fighting type. this puts him at a significant advantage against grass, bug, and rock type pokemon. now, you may be saying "crow, how tf is chimchar good against rock type?" it's the fighting type moves!!! and not to mention mach punch. it lets you go first and it's a very powerful move.

the first gym is with Roark the rock type leader, and you can beat it fairly easily. getting to Eterna City Gym with chimchar/monferno is an absolute cakewalk, and the gym battles are too. it's almost laughable. you can just go straight to the gym and beat it if you wanted to.

and that's exactly what i did. holy shit. it's suchhhh a cakewalk.

that's it. chimmy churner is the best starter.

 god i fucking love video games and their obscurities. like. i'm watching animal crossing vids on stuff like this and it's so fucking interesting. fucking Blanca is basically trans bc her model was male in the japanese port but female in the us port.

i want to go into my own lil deep dives of finding crazy shit like that in games i regularly play, like doom.

it'll probably just be silly stupid things since it'll be nothing new but oh well. still fun.

I also like playing video games! I'm obsessed with Palia and Pokemon Shining Pearl right now but my all time favs are Halo, DOOM, Fable 2 + 3, Gears of War, Amnesia, and many more.
